It’s 3:30pm on a Tuesday….Anna, Steven and Marina are wrapping up yet another quick meeting.
“So you two really need to focus on that…ok?” says Anna.
Steven and Marina reply with, “ok Ma.”
Anna’s next question is, “so what are we going to do for Easter? Should I make lamb?"
It’s an interesting, and sometimes challenging mix of business and family pleasure. Anna, the very experienced and fun-loving matriarch is the hub of Il Forno. With over 30 years in the restaurant industry, Anna has created a sense of what a healthy family business should be. Steven is following in those footsteps, and is on his way to becoming a force to be reckoned with. A bartender galore, Steven’s thirst for knowledge and love of food and wine have led him to evolve into a budding restaurant guru. Marina has been trying for years to get out of the industry, but finds herself happily sucked back time and time again. There is no doubt that this “restaurant thing” is in her blood. A Marketer by trade, Marina’s passion is people. A busy room full of happy bodies is what makes her tick.
Together, the Muze clan runs a tight ship. They believe in simple, fresh food with a comfortable place to eat it in. Their hope is that their customers feel full and happy when they leave….full and happy enough to come back again and again.
